At 2pm today we'll be picking up Yun Zhen. We had a nice time yesterday wandering around the island and found a playground where Kai was able to do a bit of running around. The island is lovely for the most part and many people are interested in talking to Kai though he's a bit shy about this so far. Julia and I melted down a little last night with lack of sleep but we're feeling pretty good this morning. I overpacked and brought a cold with me that I'm hoping to shake off over the next couple of days.
I am really looking forward to meeting Yun Zhen though I would guess she's not too anxious to meet us and is riding over here from the Yanxi orphanage. Julia and I have discussed this adoption for years now and the process has been long. Yun Zhen will turn one tomorrow.
